Man Up to Cancer - Local Chapters
Man Up to Cancer has more than 40 local chapters across North America, and one in Europe, and we expect more to develop in the years to come.
Chapters give our members opportunities to get together in person for meetings, events, or simply to hang out. We call these #wolfpackmeetups. Many chapters have zoom meetings, active online chats and Facebook groups, and their own logos.
In 2024, MUTC funded six weekend mini-retreats for the chapters. We also provided provide funding to help chapters have a group meal or outing. Some examples of chapter activities:
North Carolina chapter went to a minor league baseball game
Eastern Ontario chapter had a relaxing cookout
New York chapter went to a Yankees baseball game
MUTC also supports our chapter leaders to provide educational opportunities by engaging with local cancer centers and health experts on topics that are important to our membership, including fitness and nutrition; sexual health and wellbeing; strategies to support mental health; side effect management; finances and careers.
To join a Man Up to Cancer chapter, you must be a cancer patient, survivor, or active caregiver. You will be able to join Man Up to Cancer and join a chapter on the front page of the Man Up to Cancer website in March or April of 2025. In the meantime, you can express interest and connect with our Chapter Coordinator team.
