Man Up to Cancer Joins Frederick Anderson as He Brings the Blue Jacket Fashion Show Back to NYC for it’s 10th Anniversary
A Celebrity-Filled Runway on World Cancer Day to Champion Prostate Cancer Awareness
Wednesday, February 4, 2026 | New York, NY — On World Cancer Day, visionary designer Frederick Anderson returns the Blue Jacket Fashion Show to New York City for its landmark 10th anniversary, marking a decade of fashion, advocacy, and life-saving conversations around prostate cancer.
This is not just a runway show. It is a movement.
Set against the energy of New York Fashion Week, the Blue Jacket Fashion Show will feature a celebrity-filled runway of bold blue looks from iconic designers across the industry. Survivors, advocates, and public figures will walk side by side, united by a shared mission of breaking the silence around prostate cancer and reminding men that early detection saves lives.
For ten years, the Blue Jacket Fashion Show has used the power of fashion and culture to spark conversations men too often avoid. On February 4, those conversations take center stage once again, louder, more visible, and more urgent than ever.
A Decade of Partnership and Progress
The 2026 show marks a milestone moment for Johnson & Johnson, which is celebrating ten years as exclusive healthcare sponsor of the Blue Jacket Fashion Show. From the beginning, the partnership has helped amplify awareness, elevate education, and encourage men to take ownership of their health.
“The Blue Jacket Fashion show is particularly meaningful this year, celebrating a decade of raising awareness of prostate cancer - the second most common cancer in American men and the second leading cause of cancer death in men,” said Matt Bruce, VP of GU sales and marketing, Johnson & Johnson. “As an industry leader, it’s not only important to ensure people understand their treatment options, but also critical we work with advocacy groups seeking to reduce stigma, combat isolation and drive dialogue that can lead to better outcomes. We’re thrilled to continue to work with Man Up to Cancer to support those conversations with patients.”
New this year, the event also welcomes LISC as a sponsor. One of the nation’s largest community development organizations, LISC works to close systemic gaps in health, wealth, and opportunity, advancing racial equity so that communities across the country can thrive.
Man Up to Cancer Takes the Runway
This year’s show will include a member of the Man Up to Cancer community. Don Helgeson, Director of Chapters and Meetups, will walk the runway in solidarity with men facing prostate cancer.
Don is a three-time cancer survivor who has been living with stage 3B prostate cancer for the past five years. Based in British Columbia, Canada, Don has become a powerful voice within the Man Up to Cancer community, helping men connect, show up for one another, and navigate life during and after cancer.
His presence on the runway underscores what the Blue Jacket Fashion Show is all about: real people, real stories, and visible courage.
“The Blue Jacket Fashion Show creates a spark for meaningful conversations about prostate cancer and the importance of screening,” said Trevor Maxwell, Founder of Man Up to Cancer. “It’s all about men stepping up and taking charge of their health. We’re proud to partner with Frederick Anderson and Johnson & Johnson for this unique event.”
Survivor Voices at the Center
At its core, the Blue Jacket Fashion Show exists to ensure men do not face prostate cancer alone, a message echoed by prostate cancer advocate and survivor Bob Lane.
“When I was diagnosed, I didn’t realize what a big deal prostate cancer was because no one talks about it,” Lane shared. “Through my volunteering efforts over the last three years, I’ve tried to help men navigate their own prostate cancer journeys and continue to articulate the importance of early detection. I’m lucky enough to have found a treatment that works well for me for well over four years in ERLEADA®, and I want to let men know they are not alone, they have choices, and they should not be afraid to ask their care teams questions to find the best option for them.”
That emphasis on education, choice, and support is reinforced by advocacy partners like ZERO Prostate Cancer, which continues to work toward a future where detection is early and care is accessible to all.
Turning Awareness Into Action
In the weeks leading up to the show, Man Cave Health will sponsor five PSA testing locations, helping translate awareness into tangible action.
“Partnering with designer Frederick Anderson, the visionary behind the Blue Jacket Fashion Show, underscores Man Cave Health’s belief that tackling men’s health requires true teamwork and creative partnerships,” said Chris Masters, Executive Director of Man Cave Health. “By joining forces with leaders in fashion, sports, and culture, we can reach men in unexpected and inspiring ways, breaking stigma, sparking conversation, and driving awareness around early detection and prostate cancer. When style, purpose, and heart come together, we can save lives.”
One Night. One Color. One Unstoppable Mission.
